Frequently asked questions.

Here's what most people want to know about reserving a puppy. If your question isn't here, just reach out — we answer quickly and honestly.

How much are the puppies?

Puppies are $1,700. A $400 deposit reserves your puppy and is applied toward the final price.

What does the deposit do?

The deposit reserves your selected puppy after we confirm availability and fit. The remaining balance is due at pickup.

When will the puppies be ready to go home?

Our puppies go home at approximately 8 weeks of age, once they are fully weaned, eating solid food well, and have had their first round of age-appropriate care. We will share exact dates once the litter is born and provide weekly updates as they grow.

Are deposits refundable?

Reservation deposits are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If the puppy you reserved is no longer available for any reason on our end, we will move your deposit to another available puppy or to a future litter — whichever you prefer. Full deposit terms are explained on the Reserve a Puppy page.

How do reservations work?

Tell us a little about your home, timing, and what you are looking for. Once we confirm fit and availability, a $400 deposit reserves your puppy and is applied toward the $1,700 final price. The remaining balance is due at pickup.

Do puppies come with shots?

Puppies go home with their first age-appropriate 5-way puppy vaccine record and deworming record. New families should continue the puppy vaccine schedule with their own veterinarian.

What records do we receive?

Each family receives a simple care folder with weekly weight records, vaccine/deworming information, feeding instructions, next-care reminders, parent information, and puppy personality notes.

Are the puppies fully vaccinated?

No. Puppies are not fully vaccinated at pickup because the puppy vaccine series continues after they go home. They receive their first age-appropriate puppy vaccine, and the new family continues boosters with their veterinarian.

What should we do after pickup?

We recommend scheduling a wellness visit with your veterinarian shortly after pickup to establish care, continue vaccines, and discuss future parasite prevention.

Can I choose my puppy now?

Yes. You are welcome to reserve a specific puppy as soon as our available puppies are posted. Personalities become clearer each week, and we're happy to share our honest read on each puppy to help you pick the one that best fits your home.

Do you offer delivery?

Our default is local pickup in the Spokane area. For buyers in nearby parts of Eastern Washington or North Idaho, we may be able to arrange a halfway meetup for a small travel fee. Longer delivery is considered on a case-by-case basis.

What food are the puppies eating?

The puppies are started on a quality puppy food once they begin weaning. We will send you home with a small supply and feeding notes so you can transition them smoothly onto whatever food you choose.

Are they good farm dogs?

These puppies come from a guardian-oriented line — full Great Pyrenees father and a Pyr/Australian Shepherd mother raised on our farm. They are raised around daily farm life, so they're well-suited to farm and acreage homes. That said, we make no training guarantees: each puppy is an individual, and proper guidance in their new home is essential.

Are they good family dogs?

Yes. These puppies are handled daily by our family, raised around normal household sights and sounds, and socialized gently with kids. Pyr-mix dogs tend to be calm, loyal, and family-oriented when raised in the right environment.

What vaccinations or deworming will they have?

Puppies go home with their first age-appropriate 5-way puppy vaccine, deworming record, weekly weight chart, and next-care instructions. New families should continue boosters, rabies, and future care with their own veterinarian.

What should I bring at pickup?

Bring a secure crate or carrier, a towel or blanket, a collar and leash, and a calm attitude — the ride home is a big moment for a young puppy. We'll send you home with feeding notes, a small food sample, and a health record.

Can I visit first?

For the health of the litter, we limit visits until the puppies are a bit older and have had their first vaccinations. Once they're ready, we welcome serious, reserved buyers to come meet their puppy in person before pickup day.
